3 things I'm bringing to Thanksgiving next week

Unpopular opinion: I dislike Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey. The stuffing. The yams. The cranberry sauce. Straight down to the gravy. Growing up I used to watch my cousins from across the table make their plate. It was like clockwork every year, they’d do a scoop of mashed potatoes, make an opening and fill it in with gravy. Lots and lots of gravy. It was a gravy pool

I love the drinks, the appetizers and the desserts. This year, I wanted to bring my favorite apple pie, but since we’ll have three apple pies, four sounded excessive. So I had to pivot

Here’s what I have up my (sweater) sleeve

1. Pears with goat cheese, pecans, honey and rosemary.

   This is my “I want to bring an appetizer and I also can’t cook (lol I can’t), but I want to contribute”. You can’t mess up this recipe.
   

2. This piece for antipasto

   

   I’m undecided what I’ll use it for, but it’s coming to Thanksgiving with me. I plan to come prepared with doilies too just in case

3. A fountain

   This sounds extreme. I will share photos and/or a video documenting the vision. Just trust me
